My game keeps crashing at the 2nd loading screen. I have gone through my mods and done the 50/50 method. I found out it's Error trap that's been crashing my game. I took out Smooth Patch and Simler90's mod so it can't be that. I downloaded the Mastercontoller story progression add-on. I have no idea what to do. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated (This is my first post so I apologize if I messed up).

There are three versions of ErrorTrap, I'd first recommend making sure you are using the correct one for your patch level otherwise the game will crash.
The main download is for 1.69, then there are two for 1.67 for a Steam install or Origin/Disc install.

Aside from that, check if you can replicate the issue on a new save game.
Taking out Simler's mod implies that you were playing with conflicting core mods and have now taken a core mod out mid-save, both not great for the health of the game. The save itself may be bugged from this.

As useful as ErrorTrap is, it's at least good news that you can continue without it.
No telling if more issues would come up later, but while it isn't crashing you can recover your sims You could consider using NRAAS Porter to take your town as it is to a new save of the same world, or even just the active household depending on how many friendships/relationships you want to keep intact.
