To be fair, the MC portion of the Smoothness Patch 2.x shouldn't have anything to do with harvesting eggs, but it's difficult to know exactly when this portion of LD's patch will cause problems hence it is not supportable as is.

I thought about this too, but I've had Gamefreak's mod and the Chicken Coop for quite some time and never had any problems before, the strange part is that the chicken coop is working fine with the exception of the egg harvest interaction. I'm starting to think the problem is with the egg item itself.

I actually read it, the only reason I posted this here was because the problem is so specific and I've never had any problems with the Smoothness Patch 2.x and Nraas mods before, especially the chicken coop, so I really don't think lazyduchess's mod has something to do with it. My guess now is that some ingredient mod that uses ccloader could be interfering with the egg item somehow, or maybe the minor pet hunting mod.

Every so often my Tablet 5000 stops working and i know my ccmerged file has taken a crap again.

I downloaded a new one from here and copy it over mine and it works again. You may have a similar issue since the chicken coop is premium store content.

Just because this incompatibility is likely unrelated to your current issue doesn't mean you should disregard it and still expect help with troubleshooting. It isn't just there for your information as a player, but for the sake of the people here who offer their time and help- and to respect that they need to share a functional state of the game with you.

Playing with incompatible mods is like intentionally pre-breaking your game. You're entirely welcome to do that on your own time- it's very cheeky, however to bring that to the forum of the mods that explicitly do not work with what you are using in order to ask for help with an error. It only takes a little bit of your own time to confirm if you can recreate an error on a save without said mods in play and provide that- it's just kind to not take a request like that for granted
