I wonder why there are at least a few mods that allow teenagers to woohoo both among themselves and with adult sims, but there is no one mod that would allow them to fight with an adult sim? I have a brave teen with a martial arts skill, so why can't she deal with a burglar? Considering that teens can also fight with ancient mummies, I don't see any problems in terms of animation or age. So... What did I miss among the many settings or mods?

Can't teens fight with adults? I thought for sure they could. It seems like in Sunset Valley, I've seen VJ Alvi and his dad get into multiple fights when VJ is still a teen. At least once, they were inactives at the time and outside in their yard when I saw them.

I guess maybe a burglar is a special kind of NPC (like the social worker and the repo person) where interactions are extremely limited?

It might be as easy as changing tuning values with Retuner.

Echoweaver, in theory yes, in practice no. Retuner says that sims can fight, ranging from elementary school students to the elderly. But! A teenage sim can get into a fight with a child, but not with an adult sim. Where is justice? There is no justice.

indignantgirl, hmm... I suppose, in your case, all the credit is due to some SP module, the purpose of which for my game is unknown to me at all.

I'm telling you both, by default or with the most basic set of mods, they can't do this. The burglar was very ordinary, no other features or specific features. But I would be very happy if we could figure out what exactly will unlock this interaction.

Yeah, I don't know why I've seen teens and adults fighting, unless it was a mod of some sort. I've played with mods since the beginning so I'm not always sure where things come from.

Maybe it just depends on the sims involved. I could get an Evil teen to slap some adults, but never have the slap option to come up with others. No fight option ever came up. I don't have any mods installed right now due to some troubleshooting I'm doing, but once I drop them in I'll check it again.

It's a non-SP NRAAS mod that allows this, the option appeared when I played with ONLY the following:
MasterController + Integration, ErrorTrap, Overwatch, DebugEnabler, RelationshipPanel, PortraitPanel, Selector, Traffic.
Some more likely than others, obviously.
I've already booted the game about a dozen times testing this to narrow it down beyond that.

None of these are intrusive additions to test out. When in doubt of why you lack features the other users here have, unsurprisingly most at the NRAAS forum are using the NRAAS suite.

Confirmed this by getting to 'Unforgivably Rude' socialization with Betty Simovich and her father. Then I used cheats to force a burglar and she could fight them too. I replaced her 'Good' trait with 'Brave' before testing both, because Good sims cannot initiate fights. Default settings on a brand new save.
