New PC / New Install / Do I have to change settings again?

Post by Gargoyle Cat » July 6th, 2023, 2:47 pm

Hi,

I apologize ahead of time if this is in the wrong spot. I didn't know where else to put it.

My sims rig of 6 years died. The death wasn't game related, I suspect it was a power surge even though the system was on a surge protector and we have a surge protector on our electrical panel. Before I get into grumbling about that, here's my question.

After I re-install all of my packs, can I replace the new EA folder that is created with a saved folder and still maintain all of my NRAAS mods settings if I play a saved save? Or will I have to go through each mod and adjust them regardless?

Hopefully this makes sense. It makes sense in my head, but looks like something entirely different when written.

Thanks in advance. :)

Yes, as long as your new game and EPs install is patched too as it was, you can use EA's SuperPatcher .

Note: As you surely have a new grafic card it can be that your previous option.ini file will be resetted, where all the game settings are, so you need to set everything again, in the main menu.
