Okay so update, i actually found out i DID have the Lazy Duchess' Smooth patch as i didnt think to check her dedicated folder and not my core mods folder... but once removing it my game crashes at the inital loading screen with it removed.. not sure why..so that adds a whole new issue with me and it's just adding onto my endless issues with the sims 3.. idk what to do, should i now worry about the smooth patch causing my game to crash if i dont have it installed? Im so unsure as to whats up with my game. I only have 8-9gb of mods so nothing else should be causing issues

Do you have Mastercontroller Progression installed without having Storyprogression?
Please check that you also have the base mod not only the modules.

Depending on which version of the Smooth Patch was used, it doesn't only come with files in a folder but replaces some files in the main game installation folder. Those would need to be replaced by the originals if the other files are removed.

Or just use an older version of the Smooth Patch.
