My sim has stopped receiving child support payments. One dad would always pay, and the other would usually doge payments, but I'm not getting any money or any stories for either of them anymore. The payments are still working for other kids in town. It seems like my kids just stopped being included in the payments system.
I'm not sure when the payments stopped working because it took me a while to notice. I suspect it might have been around the time my sim got divorced from a sim she had no children with. The ex husband had been receiving elder support payments too. Could that have confused the SP money system?
So far I have tried resetting story progression and killing off the ex husband. Is there anything else I should try that might bring my payments back?

Another thing I just thought of that could be related is that my sim started the daycare career around the same time too. Could there be something in SP that stops daycare workers from getting child support? Are the kids you babysit added to the household temporarily or something?

Doesn't work if you're on vacation. Also check their Sim caste options to ensure Money: Allow is not false.

Thank you so much! I completely forgot that I sent my sim to university, got kinda bored and dropped out after a day. That must have been what broke my payments. I sent her on another quick vacation and the payments started working again when she got home, but only for one of the dads. Of course, it's the one who never pays lol
