Time is skipping
Normally the clock in a Sims 3 game will tick along one Sim minute at a time, right? I have been getting an issue with the clock skipping minutes (skipping from 1 up to 15 minutes). I don't mean that there is a stutter in the flow of the game and then it catches up and resumes with the next Sim minute. Minutes are skipped, like from 10:15 to 10:21 - this happens at any daytime. Is there an obvious reason which would cause this to happen? I have attempted some problem solving which I can relay. Just wanted to check if maybe there is an obvious solution I don't know about, to start with.

To get the obvious out of the way while we wait for the more knowledgeable people to come along: I assume you are not using Relativity at an extreme setting? That can mess with your timeflow.

Not sure where all these more knowledgeable people would be coming from, as we may be fresh out of those.
But while we are waiting for the next shipment to come in, I will say that extreme Relativity settings were the first things that came to my mind also.

Time is skipping
Thanks, the only nraas mods I use a.t.m. are Master Controller and Career. I've never used Relativity. I use awesom mod as well.
I started experiencing this time skipping when I was playing in Isla Paradiso. The flow of the game was interrupted more and more. When I directed my Sims to do something, they were just standing there for what seemed like the longest time, not reacting, because the time had stopped. And when the time skipped forward, their action would as well, making everything very choppy. I thought, this doesn't seem right, so I decided to save my most important Sims on empty lots and save them to the bin. To be sure there is nothing wrong with the game itself, I decided to go through the process of complete uninstall (incl. registry) and then reinstall everything.
Then I started a fresh Isla Paradiso game, installed a new Framework and played it only with awesome mod and MC, in addition to the no intro packages. I test played it for several Sim days, first a lot with 4 Sims, then a lot with 6 Sims, and everything was working as it should. No issues. So I started adding some of my other mods back in, a little at a time - each time testing for a couple of Sim days. In the end I had all my original mods folder in the game and it all worked as intended.
Then I started up another fresh I.P. game and did "therapture" from awesome mod to empty it all out. I went into an older I.P. Save, from before there were any issues at all, and saved some community and empty residential lots I had changed. I placed those into the empty I.P. Save and moved one Sim into the game - into an original lot (not a lot I had changed). Played for a couple of Sim days and everything was well. Then I moved one of the group of Sims I had saved to the bin into the a house (6 Sims into an original lot). I played them for a while and the time skipping started again, becoming more as I went.
I don't understand what is causing this now. I checked my Sims and they all only know each other. I have 2 graves in one Sims' inventory which I collected before they went into the bin. I wanted to place those at the graveyard, once I could see that everything was working. I am completely stumped.
Edit: Oh, and I use Ellacharmed fixed worlds.

Time is skipping
I'd recommend ErrorTrap and Overwatch. You probably have runaway alarms dragging your alarm manager to a crawl and those will resolve that.

Time is skipping
I was finally able to test this out in my game, with all my Sims households placed in the new town, and it seems to have stopped the constant time skipping, yay I only see 1-2 minutes skipping, sometimes. But that may be normal in the game, I don't know. I hadn't really paid much attention to how time is ticking along in the long run, until the issues started.Chain_Reaction wrote: ↑March 23rd, 2023, 1:06 pmI'd recommend ErrorTrap and Overwatch. Hopefully I can finally go back to actually playing the game again, haha. Only thing I am having trouble with is making 2 particular Sims siblings - I can only make them halv-siblings for some reason. But I better ask that question in the MC section. Thanks for the help
