Baby Jingle

Post by DrippingInk » March 16th, 2023, 2:01 pm

Hello, i've noticed that whenever I am trying for a baby in one of my saves, the baby jingle no longer happens, I have had to use master controller to see if they are pregnant. I at first thought it was just a glitch, but it happened again with another sim. I'm wondering if I accidentily pressed a wrong setting in woohooer that makes it not happen? I have heard of other sims disabling the jingle so they get suprised, so i'm wondering if that is what I did? Any help would be appreciated.

I have this happen whenever I set "Replace Woohoo with Risky" to True.

The way I get around it is I click on the ground and tell the possibly pregnant sim to "go here." T icon that comes with the normal options (automatic/walk/run), means the sim is not pregnant. The square icon that toddlers get usually means the sim is pregnant; the caveat is that all sims currently in water or a couple other contexts will get that square icon too. But a sim standing on solid ground should not.

I remember I decided to replace woohoo with risky for the first time, I guess that must be what happened. I'll have to test it out.

Thank you for the tip as well.

It would be nice if Risky Woohoo would give you the baby chimes, but I think that's the point of "risky," you don't know for a few days. :D
