Hi, I was just setting up rotational family story progression with this mod, but one odd thing I noticed was that one of my families adopted a pet. Is there any way I can prevent this from happening in my rotational families caste?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

How do I stop households from adopting pets?
Hmm, that’s odd, I actually have Allow Adoption turned off in my Caste options. Is there something else that could be causing the problem? Thanks again!

How do I stop households from adopting pets?
Was the pet adopted, or did it previously belong to another sim? When an elder sim is about to die, SP will rehome any pets that would be stranded otherwise.

In which castes did you change it?
The main adoption settings are under
General > option: adoptionalso check the inspection settings too.
You can disable adoption under town for all,
f.i. and then allow in the active family caste only for your active sims, as an example.
