I know we can use the launcher to uninstall lots, objects, sims etc. But is there any way to uninstall clothes?
I know I can use dresser and master controller to hide them, but I have to do that in every town I start.
My problem is that one one town I have just installed, for some reason it includes a stupid tail that goes in all categories of male clothes from teens to elders. And even uninstalling the world does not get rid of the tails. the only way I got rid of them before was when I changed computers, operating system and therefore had to completely reinstall the whole game.

does anyone know if there is a solution?

I am sorry. I can uninstall clothes. I just didn't have that many custom ones, so it took a bit of scrolling to find them.

But I cannot uninstall the tails. when I try, I get the message:

Tehmango CatTail Male: Error: cannot uninstall package with dependants

does anyone have any ideas about what I can do about this please?

No, when I uninstalled the world, I was able to get rid of the tails. A shame, because I liked that world.

Try reinstalling the world then copying it's .world file in your InstalledWorlds folder to your desktop. Uninstall the world and the tails. Put the .world back into your InstalledWorlds folder. You can then use the world minus the tails - although this will also remove any other CC that came with the world which may or may not be problematic depending on how much was used.

If that becomes a problem, find the instance number of the tails by right clicking on them in a MasterController CAS instance (this is logged to a script error) then find them in your newest DDCache\dbc file and delete the CASP inside it with that instance and they won't bother you again.
