So, I've been using the Homeworld University w/ rugs and before, it was working perfectly. But now, everytime I try to enroll a Sim, they never get a class schedule! I've tried it in different save files, but it's the same thing. It seems that for the actual university buildings, though, this function is intact, so I don't know if it's the rugs or what's happening

What did you change in the new world? Other university buildings? Do you have all?
Student Union, Nerd Shop for Technology, University Hangout for Communication, Library with sufficient room for business majors.

Also there must be enough space around the rug so sims can use it correctly.

I'm not sure if I can post in here but I went into the thread and I wasn't able to find a solution. This is really frustrating because I can't figure out why I am able to enroll into college but no class schedule is generated? Please help

For Home world University to function properly you must enroll using university rugs on Saturday or Sunday. Sometimes rugs do glitch and lot can be reset without issues if you have enrolled during the weekend.
I have created numerous Home world University lots with different lot designations and they all function as intended.
I have a 64x64 lot designated as Student Union (no lot markers) with all skill objects and tiny nerd shop with rotegen register, fishing, university herbs, art room, easels placed outside, science room, library, lecture room, snack room, bathrooms.My sims and townies and Professors manage to make it to classes and lectures daily

On another note if you are sending a student for a teaching career, use business course the education course is broken and does not work
