I've recently got back into TS3 and I've been wanting to play with mods for a while. I've downloaded all of the appropriate folders and documents to make my mods folder. whenever i have MC in that folder i get 1/4 way through my loading screen before the music cuts and my game crashes. I have multiple other mods so I've gone through and individually weeded through them and found MC is the one causing issue. I've deleted my mods folder and installed it again thinking my folder may be corrupt but all my other mods work fine. Is there any way to fix this? And yes I am on the latest patch

Do you have the MC Progression add-on installed? It's a bridge between MC and StoryProgression, and if either one of these is missing, the presence of MC Progression can crash the game on startup.

And let me know whether you're using the Smooth Patch from Lazy Duchess, with or without the MC-related additional files.

I don’t have the progression mod so stalled and I don’t have the smooth patch!
after adding more mods I’ve found that woohooer and consigner doesn’t work either ! And once the mods that work are installed it makes me sims needs go black instead of red and my camera gets weird. Is this a mod issue or a me issue??

Hi there. This is not the usual player experience with NRaas mods. May I ask please, what type of install are you working with? Is this an Origin/EA App install, from Steam, all retail discs, or from some other source?

I’m using a disk version of the game ! I have a lot of stuff packs and expansions all on disk too

Okay, for an all retail disc install I would suggest running EA's SuperPatcher if you haven't already done so. Ignore any offers to switch to Origin if you don't want that. And if you are already on an Origin controlled game, then don't do this -- it's only for non-Origin and non-Steam players.

Even if your Launcher is reporting that you are already on Patch 1.67, the patch up to that level may have been incomplete and that will irritate some of the mods.

My game was on 1.50 ! But on the installer it told me it was up to date! Thank you so much they all run smoothly and my game isn’t breaking anymore !!! I’m so happy haha !

Yes, many of the mods would have downright nervous breakdowns on that patch level. Whatever was telling you things were up to date needs to be scolded and made to stand in the corner, but in the meantime glad you got it patched up properly and working!
