Retuner to stop minor pets from dying?

No one knows everything this mod can do. Did you know you can tune the size of your sims nostrils with this mod? I'm kidding.

Retuner to stop minor pets from dying?

Post by Cororon » October 30th, 2022, 8:07 pm

I know there are mods at Sims Asylum that stop minor pets from dying of old age, starving or running away, but I wonder if this is possible to do in Retuner? I thought it would be better than downloading new mods for every little this or that.

Oh, I guess if it's possible in Retuner, the settings would have to be set for each world/save? But the mod would work automatically for all of them, right?

These are my settings in Retuner for minor pets. I think they should cover the 'old age' and 'running away' whilst in a sims' inventory but not the starving part. I imagine that's probably somewhere in the same place in Retuner's settings so shouldn't be hard to find.

The settings are indeed world/save specific but you can always use Overwatch to export Retuner's settings and then import them into any other save. :-)

Yay, excellent! Thanks, Sarah! :D I'll use those!

My sims have a spiny turtle they (and I) want to keep for as long as possible. They never let it starve, but sometimes they put it in the inventory when I'm not looking...
