I'm having a male/male couple but the try for baby option is greyed out,both are Young adults

How do I get male sim pregnant
that would mean that the intended sim, or both of them, cannot be impregnated right now.
If you are playing with NRaas StoryProgression, then either
a - If you have Woohooer linked to SP (see Woohooer > General), the male caste or at least one of these sims needs to be allowed to become and be pregnant
(On City Hall or an in-game computer for SP > Caste Options > Males or on the sim for their individual SP > Sim Options)
OR
b - Set the link between Woohooer and SP to False or at least False for User Directed.
But with SP in play, males or the sim in question still needs to be set to Allow to Be Pregnant or else SP will silently terminate a pregnancy that forms once it "notices" it.
It could also be that the intended sim or both of them are too close to their next birthday, when they age up to Adult, for a pregnancy to complete. Or possibly the intended sim is not a full resident of the world you are playing (homeless NPC or foreign visitor)?
You might get a bit more information by pausing the game and switching on Woohooer's debugging utility, which shows all possible interactions between two sims. If you hover your mouse over Try For Baby when you think it should be available, you should get a pop-up tool tip with the reason it's not available. The possible reasons are explained here.
(Woohooer > General > Debugging , be sure to set this back to False before running the game clock again as otherwise it will use up all kinds of resources generating debug logs that we don't need to see)
