Recently, a career modder thought that his custom afterschool activity was not functioning properly, because a child sim with the activity panel had both the name of the activity and its description showing up fully, like so with Twallan's Geology club:



While with a Teen sim, the activity panel showed "Afterschool activity" in lieu of the name of the activity, as well as a generic instruction to hover each activity day to see the activity name, rather than the activity description, similar to how Twallan's Geology club is displayed for teen sims:



Looking up the game strings, it appears that the clubs Sport, Study, Shop, Drama, Debate and Art, all had proper names and descriptons planned, likely designed to show up fine in the Teen activity panel. However there are also the basic strings that do show up instead in the panel even when assigning these EA activities to teens. Namely, "Afterschool Activities" and "For details on afterschool activities, move your mouse over each highlighted day below." So it appears EA fleshed out children afterschool activities feature more, going as far as offering some ways to level up in them, similar to careers in that regard. While teenagers have one main basic level and like the recital event to get a trophy?
