All of my children changed their schools
All of my children changed their schools
I downloaded several nraas mods at the same time today, including Storyprogession, Career, and I think mostly everything which is related to schools. Now I keep getting notifications about all kinds of relationship stuff, missing school/work, hating school or someone is nerd in school... But the dozens of notifications, it's very annoying (my city is big because I'm populating it). How can I turn off those notifications? In addition, ALL of the students (50+) started to change their schools randomly (I have more school in my city, and some nraas and custom mods added them too). For example, someone was just switched to Musik school, other child to Military, etc. I love those new schools, but I dont want them to change their schools randomly, I want to select the new schools for them one by one or keep the old ones. How can I stop that process?

1 - SP > General Options > All Stories > (set some subset of sims less than everyone or "None" for no SP generated stories at all)
If you want to get more granular or detailed, there are more Story options to look at under SP > General Options > Options: Stories
Note that progression still happens the same with or without the stories being presented to the player.
2 - SP > General Options > Options: Careers > Options: School > Auto-Assign School > False
This will stop the auto-assigning of the Careers mod specialty schools. Of course sims still have to register for and attend "a" school of some sort and the game will assign those when sims are in need of a new school to attend for any reason (like the sim just moved in, aged up, their old school blew up, etc.)
