Script Error Mini Sims?

Post by StormyDayz » August 19th, 2022, 10:01 am

Hello. I've been getting this error every time I start the game. It mentions mini sims matching filter and a null value but I can't see what it's referring to. It also mentions Story Progression and Master Controller but seems to be a Go Here error so I thought it best to post it here. Any help would be appreciated.

Code: Select all

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<NRaas.GoHere>
<ModVersion value="44"/>
<BuildVersion value="0.2.0.32"/>
<Installed value="BaseGame, EP1"/>
<Enumerator value="3"/>

I assume you're using door filters with SP castes? Doing so can be a bit problematic. Try removing and recreating the filter and see if it stops.

I'm actually not... unless I did it unknowingly. I didn't even realize that's something we could do.

Is it possible then that you are playing world with assets involved that require more than just WA for the expansion packs? If I am reading the log correctly, that's the only EP that is loading (on purpose or by accident).

You definitely have a filter using SP caste somewhere. Have you created any filters at all?

Script Error Mini Sims?

I’m doing this thing right now where I add the packs in order they were released. I’m in Riverview now and moving to Twinbrook soon.

Looking over the error again I noticed something about net worth. I can’t imagine how I could have accidentally assigned a caste filter to a door. I knew it was possible for lots but I don’t have any filters on lots. Is there anything else it can be assigned to?

Yes the filter is trying to calculate net worth from SP and failing. Since you're unaware where the filter might be set, I just looked over the code to refresh my memory and it looks like I attempted to mitigate the SP filter errors in the test version of GoHere. Could you grab that and see if it helps any?

That seems to have fixed the problem!

Edit: I found the culprit. A lot I downloaded from MTS! The filters aren't active but they are assigned to doors on different buildings on the lot.
