Tuning Protest and Related Buffs

No one knows everything this mod can do. Did you know you can tune the size of your sims nostrils with this mod? I'm kidding.

Tuning Protest and Related Buffs

To start with, I am not currently using NRaas Retuner, but using my own tuning mod, which I learned from this very helpful forum. Thank you for all the previous help, and I hope I could get some advice on this new problem I encountered as well.

I recently installed University Life and tried out protesting, but I thought the effect of protesting for happiness is a little too OP for my liking. Wish master from alchemy potion Wish Enhancing Serum has the same effect, but you need to work to high levels of alchemy and need ingredients to make that. Ambitious trait increases the base multiplier of only 1.15 and takes up a trait slot. So I don't really like the idea of protesting once and have this x2 multiplier for 2 full days. I'm okay with the 2 days part since the protest takes 4 hours, but I don't like the multiplier of 2.

Below are my ideas and progress:

Plan A: change the multiplier of the buff Happily Ever After

First I tried tuning ImprovedProtestSituation XML. The variable I found that sounded the most relevant is kLifetimeHappinessRewardFromCause with an original value of 2000. I thought it meant the happiness multiplier with a unit of 0.1%, so that 2000 meant 200%, multiplier of 2. I changed the value but the effect did not change. I wonder what this variable actually does?

I also tried searching for the specific buff Happily Ever After, but did not find an XML file for that. The Buffs XML file has the tuning of the duration and mood effect of a list of buffs, but not the effects of the buffs.

Plan B: get rid of the option/buff altogether

I don't have any specific plan to go this route, but if there is I'd like to accept this approach as well. If there is a way that when a sim announces a protest, there is no option of protesting for happiness, I'd take that.

Plan C?
If there's any other ideas/approaches that solves the problem, I'd love to hear those as well.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

It doesn't appear to do anything. Looks like a scrapped design idea.

You're looking for Sims3.Gameplay.CAS / SimDescription (just this tuning if not using Retuner) / kHappilyEverAfterMutiple
