Back in my test game, with only NRaas mods installed, my PlantSim still had hunger and bladder decay constantly until the negative moodlets appeared.
So at least it's not a mod conflict and I can put all my mods and cc back in, which is a relief as I really likes a lot of those mods and cc.
I thought I had already tried removing PlantSim status and putting it back on via NRaas but then, when I was explaining the NRaas pathway I used to a friend, I realized I did that wrong, only removing the PlantSim hidden trait not the actual PlantSim occult status!
When I removed her PlantSim status using NRaas> MC> remove occult, she became a human sim with regular skin and hair, and her hunger and bladder motives were normal, not leafed over, just like it's supposed to work!
When I added her PlantSim status back on using NRaas>MC>add occult, she changed back to her original PlantSim self, hair, skin, and leafed over hunger and bladder motives....with no decay in those motives at all!
Not sure why that fixed it but it seems like it was just an EA error in a patch or something that messed up PlantSims hunger and bladder motives once they aged to child.
Wish I would have remembered the proper path for that sooner!
But at least it was an easy fix, even if I did go the long way around to get to it!
Thanks for all the suggestions everyone.

Sorry I wasn't more specific about the path when I recommended using MC to remove the PlantSim status, but at least you were able to figure it all out!
I've had many, many PlantSims and never had the issues you described, but I've had a couple of other small issues with occults that were fixed with removing and then re-adding the occult status. The Sims wouldn't be The Sims without those weird little things that "just happen" sometimes.

That's for sure!
Only in the Sims could you have an occult that doesn't have a bladder motive but still needs to be potty trained to grow up well!
No oversight there at all!
But at least I'm learning all the little tricks from the players here to keep the game playable.
Thanks for all the help everyone.

PlantSim child with hunger and bladder decay
Well, the mystery has been solved!
It wasn't a patch, oversight, or mod, or cc or anything like that was causing my PlantSim to have decaying hunger and bladder motives.
The culprit was the Motive Mobile, one of the lifetime happiness rewards.
The motive mobile restores all motives, whether a sim has those motives or not.
So, when a PlantSim uses a motive mobile, it activates their hunger and bladder motives and what goes up must come down, so those motives start decaying.
And I didn't even have to remove and add back on the PlantSim status.
Just stash all motive mobiles in the family inventory and reset both of my PlantSims.
And their hunger and bladder motives are now resolved and don't decay.
No more traveling with the motive mobile for PlantSims!
Huge thanks to two Sim players at Carl's Forum for providing the solution.

That's the same one that the Sims 3 players at Carl's site shared with me to see if that's what was causing my PlantSims hunger and bladder needs to break!
But I lost the e-mail they sent the link in and though I searched for it, I had no luck in finding it.
NRaas members always come through with what I need!
