Maybe a Corrupted Sim

Hi, I have a sim who might be corrupted. When I tried to transition her from a child to teen, she would not age at all. That issue was fixed by resetting the household. Then she was able to age up. However, Now that she is trying to age up from teen to YA, it's happening again only this time resetting the household didn't work. I've not tried resetting the town yet. As a teen, the only cc she had was her hair. Both times after resetting the household, she had on a totally different outfit. The first time this happened I had a script error, but I can't find it right now. Does anybody know what would cause this? She is a born in game sim.

This often means one of her outfits (and that can include hairstyles) is corrupt, or the assignment from the sim to it, and not necessarily the sim themselves. I would try replacing all of her outfits and her hair next, even if they do not contain CC, just to see what happens. She's going to get all new ones as a YA anyway.

Why won't she age up though w/100% EA stuff after I reset the household and town both? Here are some script errors. I think the last one is after the town reset. Now when I try to trigger her age transition, she gets reset again and when I try having her go to bed, she still gets reset.

The Correction Log doesn't tell us anything, but one of the other two that uploaded along with it might. Is the teen in question named Amelia Marsten? If so, we will need Chain to tell us what that script error means -- looks like some kind of scavenger hunt opportunity scenario from a foreign world that got stuck and just doesn't want to let go now.

If that's not the correct sim, then of course disregard this.

Amelia has an active scavenger hunt. The other girl (Allegra, the original one who will not age up) completed her scavenger hunt. I also had trouble w/Allegra when she aged from child to teen. Resetting the lot fixed that one.

It's been a couple of days, does anybody know why this is happening from what the script error says? I've never had this before.

I can't tell, sorry, but for aging the sim up - you can also use CAS and change your sim to the next age there. Maybe this helps.
Also with Debugenabler you can use
Fix Invisible Sims
Attempts to correct any broken/corrupt outfits that exist on any sim in town

Thanks! I'll try the CAS version b/c even w/100% EA outfits and hair, both sims cannot age up. :(

There is one unpleasant outcome. In this case, they will lose their individual voice. Well, and maybe some hidden traits. But even this can be corrected if desired, the main thing is to check everything and remember some little things.

Sonshine, probably, this is one of the last methods, but have you tried to kill the sim and resurrect back? Usually death helps to get rid of all the stuck problems. Recently, for example, a sleeping bag got stuck in my luggage, and I couldn't get rid of it even with the help of MC.

Cancel that scavenger hunt opportunity, it's breaking the reset process. After doing that, try resetting her then try aging her again. If that doesn't work, use Fix Invisible Sims in DebugEnabler on the City Hall then try aging her.
