Report a Error occupied

Post by Gepard28 » January 17th, 2022, 5:17 am

Sims 3 occupied Error.
Hej Dev. and peoples.
I have been using this mod, but I am not sure, if I am the only one having problems whit occupied.
Error happens I got a wild Teen Girl that Woohoo a lot and doing a lot of interactions. Good for her.

The problems come that it leave a lot of occupied Errors where no one have an owner to them.
It happens after Woohoo, Loading game midt woohoo, do bug even more.
My thought are that it might happens, when I get guest over.

There keep getting more and more occupied spots, that can't be used by any one for some reason.
Resetting the house did not work, its like permanent there.

I hope you know how to fix or at least get a idea for a way to fix this, if keep going the sims cant go out or in of the house.

I use nraas:
Woohoo dah :-D
Decensor
Errortrap New
Relativity
Overwatch
Portrait
Traveler
Debug
Mastercontroller

Other:
Skin, dress, 1 or 2 item that are not relate to interactions.

My thought will be if a timer will happen when a occupied field a empty space got no hitting them in 15 min. (Real time) to remove it self.

Try resetting the whole town. Click on City Hall or an in-game computer and select:

NRaas > MasterController > Town Options > Reset Everything

Sometimes the sim that used the object needs to be reset, in this case an inactive sim that your sim was getting busy with at some previous point. A town reset will also reset all the sims in town.

What you have are not objects stuck in use, but these things called abandoned social jigs. No, resetting lots and worlds won't clear those, There are two other ways.

With MasterController and the MC Cheats module in play, on the lot itself run NRaas > MC > Object Stats > Non-Inventory, select anything with "jig" in the name, and Flush.

The other way is to retreat to Edit Town, evict everyone to the side of the map, copy the uninhabited lot down to the bin, bulldoze, replace with a copy, and move everyone back in without having left the screen. Jigs cannot withstand that kind of reset.

The MC way is of course much easier and less intrusive to gameplay.

Seem I fixed it.
Click on City Hall or an in-game computer and select:

NRaas > MasterController > Town Options > Reset Everything

This made me able to see the Error, then i click on it and
Nraas > Debug Enabler > Radius Purge > 1 Bam gone.

That way works too, but it's not as safe as the other two methods depending on the objects that might be around, very close to, or practically in the same space as the jigs. Also, the jigs will not always reveal themselves as ovals and it's difficult to get Radius Purge exactly right for objects that you cannot see.

A note on this when you are doing this on lots with rabbit holes for future reference. You want to leave the RabbitholeDoorJig's alone.

That's a good point, but I've done that to community lots with rabbitholes carrying that kind of jig many times and for me it seems like it's never caused a serious issue. It's possible I've just been lucky all this time and I'm sure it's best to exempt those from the procedure.

If you do not have ErrorTrap, they will duplicate like wild rabbits upon next load. You have gotten lucky because you do have it. :)
