Townies to use computers on libraries
Whenever I go to a public library, townies just sit and read books but don't go near a computer. Is there anyway to allow autonomous use of computers?

And what else should they do in the library? But seriously, I have seen many times in my game how sims used computers there. However books are of the greatest interest to them on this lot. You can try the following. Using the Retuner on the City Hall, check that the "Show Object Menu" is set to "True". Next, click on any book and bookcase and find the "Read" interaction on them. After that, find something like "Fun Factor", inside of which there may be something like, be example "BeInLibrary 200". Give this parameter a lower value, and the books in the library will cease to be insanely interesting.MMCabral66 wrote: ↑December 17th, 2021, 10:31 amWhenever I go to a public library, townies just sit and read books

Do keep in mind that you are asking this presumably rhetorical question on a forum where more than one member has admitted to placing ice cream parlors on/just outside of hospitals, ferris wheels in cemeteries, and kissing booths next to LN Pro bars and the all-night dance floors on playgrounds.Sara_Darkees wrote: And what else should they do in the library?
(hears nothing but crickets chirping)
Hey, where did my fellow goofy town designers disappear to?

You have to admit though, you are kind of walking into these meant to be good-natured answers with such a complaint!MMCabral66 wrote: Whenever I go to a public library, townies just sit and read books

I mean isn't that normal? I am thinking a rooftop roller coaster on city hall....

That's cool actually, and who cares what doctors say about natural-food diet, because this canteen food is unbearable
By the way, I have the opposite problem, where characters behave in an inappropriate way. Although, probably, no one is surprised anymore that sims like to swim in the cemetery.

In my game sims often use a computer in the library, I had to increase that they read and go there more often, I don't know what general setting is set as default, but if you use Retuner like this
the Computer and also check the values for Fun and others.Sara_Darkees post_id=86377 time=1640634318 user_id=18005 wrote: Using the Retuner on the City Hall, check that the "Show Object Menu" is set to "True". Next, click on
