The Sims 3 Smooth Patch

Would this possibly fix the stuttering I've been experiencing since installing University Life?

It wouldn't hurt to try, that is if your processor isn't already running at its limit. But the stutter could be from something else entirely. In this situation, I'd probably start with an MC reset/save as/quit/clear caches/reload and see whether it helped.

This tool can simply be removed as easily as it's installed, so if you don't like the results, delete the files and move on.

Cororon, It's weird that the patch wouldn't start each time for you. It does for me, but then I have a Steam install and don't go through an EP's .exe file, even if that file points back to TS3W.exe. If you launch the game through TS3W, does the tool work each time? I'm totally speculating here, but I do wonder if that would make a difference, like something about how the process starts when you use an EP's .exe makes it more prone to error.

Hi, I know this is an old thread but I've been having a problem where on some save files I can't click on anything that isn't an object and I get hundreds of script errors from nraas go here and retuner and the problem goes away when the smooth patch isn't loaded. Has anyone experienced this problem?

Could you drag and drop the script errors into the Quick Reply box below so we can take a look at them? It may not seem possible but the errors could be unrelated to the Smooth Patch.

What do you have the TPS set at in the Smooth Patch mod? Is it at the default of 500? Have you tried decreasing it? :-)

Thank you C-Dark. :-)

It does indeed seem that burtonjay has a broken mod that needs to be removed from their game and their issues are not related to the Smooth Patch, as I suspected. :-)

Does anybody have patch ver 1.1, ver 1.2 caused HUGE lag worse than the game BY FAR. I was told ver 1.1 actually worked but can't find it anymore as all links have been updated to 1.2, so can someone help me?
The world calls for graphics/art work, and I answer. So, can I count on you to call me up for service?

I have managed to find a couple of links to version 1.0 but not 1.1 I'm afraid.
SFS: https://href.li/?http://www.simfileshar ... d/2612627/ (I'm not sure if this one will work)
Dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/s/y4vmsuvocjzb6 ... 0.zip?dl=0

I also have a pdf file of the original instructions for this version.

I don't think there is any way to know exactly as both versions of the zip files I have are called "Id_TS3Patch10.zip" but the dates of the files inside the zip files are different. The first version (1.0) is dated 23 July 2021 and the second version (1.2) is dated 30 November 2021.
