A couple of script errors

I've been playing an Asylum game for quite a while but the last couple of times I've started the game I've gotten a script error that's new to me, I wondered if anyone could shed any light on it please? It talks about an orphaned one shot function and the only thing I can think of is that I removed Lyralei's function sheep mod (although I didn't place any sheep in this game) and I added Buckley's no more hidden brooms mod to remove the free broomsticks that witches get.

The second error is from the same game but it's one I've had a few times before, Bonehilda is misbehaving. She seems to go AWOL once a day or once every couple of days. If she's dismissed and them summoned again she works just fine, until she goes AWOL again. Not a huge issue but I'm curious.

Apologies for the wall of text Bonehilda error, for some reason that wouldn't upload, it simply got stuck processing. Obviously the loaded assemblies are the same as the orphaned one shot function error.

I believe that the Bonehilda error is caused by a custom idle (or no idle) animation mod that does not take SN/Bonehildas into account or is otherwise acting up.

Thank you igazor. I'm a bit stuck as to what mod might be causing the trouble. I have Shimrod's awareness animations disabled but that specifically says it doesn't affect idles. I've also got Nukael's No Whining Motives but that says it's checked up to 1.67. I also have a couple of mods from Bluegenjutsu No Coughing While Eating, No Foot Tapping and No Route Fail but I can't imagine that they are the culprits. Blue was good about checking their mods.

Other than that I can't see anything obvious that might be affecting idles. However it is late here and I have quite a few mods so I will have another look in the morning.

I just thought though, before I go haring off in completely the wrong direction, when I'm checking mods, I am looking for mods that contain jazz files? Those are the animations? If so, is there anyway I can use the Dashboard to compare the jazz files in the mod to the jazz files in the game? And where would the original jazz files be? I only know about the gameplay data package and I'm guessing they aren't in there?

Also I have mods like PuddingFace's enhanced witches, vampires and genies and Kapaer's children can series. I can't see that they would be culprits as they would be adding animations, not altering existing animations? But should I be checking those too?

Thank you again for your help and sorry for rambling on, as I said it's late and that was a bit of a stream of consciousness typing as I was thinking, without actually thinking about what I was typing. I'm so sorry. :oops:

Whoops, I'm afraid "All that Jazz" (see what I did there?) is a bit above my pay grade so to speak. We'll have to let Chain or one of the others answer properly. But it seems to me that if the culprit mod is one that suppresses idles rather than adds them, which certainly might not be the case anyway, then that element of the package file wouldn't be there.

I see what you mean igazor. I wish I could figure out which of my mods would be the likely culprit. It's probably a mod that I've had in my game for ages that is causing the problem too as I rarely use Bonehilda in my games. The thing is that I've been playing so long and had most of my mods for so long that I've forgotten some of the details of what each mod does so I'm probably writing off the true culprit thinking that it doesn't affect idles when it does. Which is why it would be useful if I could track it using the original jazz files and dashboard or a technique like that.

I had problems with Bonehilda disappearing before I ever started using mods and cc in my game. I kinda thought it was another one of those EA things never fixed. I rarely use her anymore, but I do have her in one of my saves and she still occasionally disappears if I leave her out too long and forget to send her back to her coffin once she is done cleaning. I will delete the coffin and add another. I would be interested in others comments if there is a fix for it.

Bekkasan, it's interesting that Bonehilda disappears for you too. If you don't mind me asking, how often does she disappear for you? I tend to have one of my sims summon her and then leave her out all the time and she seems to disappear about once a day or once every other day. I wondered if that was more often, or as often as she disappears for you?

Because although it would be a pain if it was down to an EA "oversight" it would be nice not to have to try and figure out which of my mods is causing the issue.

That could be EA. It looks like an animation event is running after an object has been destroyed. I'd try without mods, particularly idle mods, and see how she behaves just to be sure. No those don't specifically have jazz files in them. They are tuning mods.

OK, Thank you Chain for the info Chain. Just to check, when you say an animation event is running after an object has been destroyed are you referring to both script errors? Or just the Bonehilda script error? It's just that I've had the Bonehilda error by itself in several game sessions. However the Orphan One Shot Function error has only shown up in the last two game sessions.

I will grit my teeth and try a completely unmodded test game as soon as I can (got a few busy days ahead). It's gonna be agonising so keep your fingers crossed that me and my sims survive the experience. :D

The one shot errors can be safely ignored. I was referring to the one that's causing bonehilda to reset.
