So, being a glutton for punishment, I'm playing another Showtime career. Current point of annoyance is that when a performance starts, some number of inactives on the lot will watch, but no sim that enters the lot after start seems to even notice that a performance is happening.
I'd like to make watching a show much more appealing, REALLY appealing, for inactives, though not so appealing that they will piss themselves or starve to death. I know very little about advertisement, however. Does anyone have advice? I've largely messed with Returner to change autonomy or availability of interactions.

They are pushed when the show starts by scripting so that's why you notice Sims already there responding. However from a glance it looks like other Sims should as well if their fun need is low. If you tank those, do they go watch the show on their own?

I hadn't thought to try something like that. I'll find out. Thanks.

Another thing to try, that works for me, is to have my performing sim throw a party at that location about an hour before the show starts. That way you get more people there to watch the show.
