Teen Wedding Problem
Teen Wedding Problem
Hi, having some kind of problem and cant really find whats causing it. Whenever i try to marry two teens, they go under the arch / exchange rings and kiss then it ends there, they are still Fiancee and just goes on the next thing in queue. Using SP + Extra / MC / Woohooer and more, most from here. Tried looking every option but maybe i missed one, YA-Teen works fine but two teens; not happening even on a private one. If it can help, i have UL/ITF/Amb/LN/WA/Supern/Gen as expansions.

Teen Wedding Problem
Hi there. I'm pretty sure this kind of thing is to be expected with teen weddings. The game core is going to fight back against the full ceremony completing. If waiting until at least one of them is older isn't part of the plan, I would suggest using MC Cheats to set the relationship level between them as spouses and just hope that level of coupling remains stable.
Teen Wedding Problem
A little late to this party, but wanted to let you know that I have made use of said MC Cheats to set teen and teen-adult couples to be married, and it has always been completely stable for me.

Teen Wedding Problem
I've had over a dozen teen/teen weddings in a recent save and never saw a single problem. They do the arch ceremony and are pushed to cut the cake, there's a popup to change the last name, all the usual stuff. I don't remember what settings I changed, but nothing in MC. I think it was just in SP and maybe Woohooer. In other saves, I don't generally allow teen weddings/marriages at all, maybe had 2 or 3 over the years, but I don't remember any issues. (In this save I'm marrying them before moving them out of the active household so that SP doesn't try any funny business.)
It should be noted that I haven't thrown an actual "wedding party" for a teen/teen marriage. I have a community lot with an arch and a table for a cake, and I have my active family go there for the wedding. There are usually some service sims and townies hanging around, and I use MC "invite over" if I want any specific sims to be there. I also have both teens in the active household before the wedding, so that might make a difference.
I know this is an old thread, but I'm adding my experience because I don't think the push-back against teen/teen weddings is necessarily to be expected. Sometimes, for couples of any age, I might have to click on the arch more than once for it to work, but that seems like a time-out thing. Like the active sim gets tired of waiting for the target sim to stop talking to Ethan Bunch and they decide to go ride the carousel instead.

Teen Wedding Problem
No issues here, either, complete with ceremony and official party on the home lot.

Exactly my reason for doing it too. Perhaps I will try the ceremony and arch with the next teen I have. Whenever that will be.indignantgirl post_id=83633 time=1628277371 user_id=20577 wrote: (In this save I'm marrying them before moving them out of the active household so that SP doesn't try any funny business.)
