NRAAS School types

Post by lucy_henley » July 18th, 2021, 7:55 pm

I downloaded the schools module as I was playing a save where I wanted the kids to be homeschooled. I don’t play that save any more, but I’m curious about the other school types.
I was playing a particular family with two teens. I temporarily switched households, and then when I went back to the family with teens they’d all enrolled in different schools. One was enrolled in culinary school even though it didn’t really suit her personality, so I decided to switch her to the science academy. Her younger sister is enrolled in military school which does suit her somewhat.
As I’ve not really played with these other school types, can someone explain them a little please? Some seem pretty self-explanatory eg culinary school, but I’d like to know stuff like what skills they learn, etc.

Thank you in advance!!

Oh, that's Top Secret information. We could tell you about the custom schools, but then we would have to...you know. Something not very pleasant. :(

Okay, it's not a secret intentionally. The Careers Schools module fact page is one of those that never successfully made it over to this site when we moved. Does the original Wikipedia page, still available through the Wayback Machine, help?

Ooh, that’s useful. I did find out a bit about the military school and science academy through sending those Sims there. The info about the other school types will be useful in case I fancy sending any of my other Sims there. Thank you!
