GoHere Script error

Post by deesim » June 7th, 2021, 11:53 pm

Hi! I've been getting a lot of script errors with Gohere recently. Seems to have something to do with the caregiver part, although I don't use the caregiver service or have my active sims as caregivers. I've zipped one up to show you, I deleted the ones before, they were all the same. (Uploaded: ScriptError_GoHere_DeeSim_8thJune2021.xml). There is always lag when the error happens. What is causing this? Thanks in advance :)
Edit: I meant the Daycare part, not caregiver lol
@igazor, sorry for the duplicate post!:D

GoHere Script error

I don't see anything that could easily break in that function offhand unless there's some type of incompatability going on. If you try your game with only NRaas mods, do those errors stop?

Hi Chain Reaction, Thank you for replying. It's so strange, it only happens in one save. So you don't think any of those mods listed in the script error are conflicting with GoHere? Well, that's something lol.
I'll try the save with only NRaas mods though and let you know what happens :)

GoHere Script error

Okay, so with only NRaas mods installed the error doesn't happen, which makes sense. When I put back all mods, it doesn't happen in other saves, except one, the same one all the time. When I make adjustments in GoHere under Caregivers (I enabled Allow Active Day Care: True and Hire Babysitters for Inactives: True) the script errors stop. All 4 options were set to False before because I wanted to use EA Babysitters so I can change the age group from Teenagers to YA with Register (GoHere babysitters were always teenagers lol).Image

So if I want to go back to EA Babysitters to have YA age group I have to disable all 4 options and the script errors happen again. What should I do?

You'd have to figure out which mod is conflicting. It may be the roommate fix one if I had to guess as I have roommate checks in there but it could be another one.

Ooh no, I hope it's not the Roommate mod, I love that one lol. I'll figure this out and let you know. Thanks, Chain! :)

Maybe if the roommate fix is not the issue.
Befor changing to only EA babysitters, did you reset town with MC and save as?
Maybe there are teenage babysitters npc's existing, but when you change the tuning to "only" YA this may cause conflicts too?
just a guess.

I use active daycare and set daycare instead of babysitters true, but sometimes some babysitters are faster, so the kid will not be moved to the daycare. I get no errors with Gohere 45.

If you reset town, you may need to sell inventory items of inactive households, because these items they cannot use anymore, cityhall - MC houshold ;-) (to reduce objects in town)

I never set the Active Daycare because I don't do the Daycare but I see what you mean - a babysitter will arrive if no Active Daycare is available, right? But a teenage babysitter always arrived lol. Do you have YA babysitters? If you do, how did you tune them, via Retuner or with a babysitter mod?
I'll try what you suggest, though :) Yeah, I notice the inventory items are weird after Town Reset, I'm always deleting something from inventories lol.
I'll let you know what happens. Thank you :)

I use NRaas Register for this: City Hall/Computer > NRaas > Register > Service
Register-Interactions#Service-Register-Interactions

My Register settings on tumblr: https://simsarahsarah.tumblr.com/nraasregister

Hope that helps with this part of your issue. :-)

I hope this will work ;-)

No, I did not change the age of my babysitters, I find the teens ok.
And yes you can easily use Register like Sarah_Sims noted, I nearly forgot this great option.
