Well, I think the title ist self-explaining.
I have a household with a VERY dedicated alchemist and I'd love the idea of adding some extra potion recipes as the original ones turn a little boring after a while...

I think what I have to consider is:
-ingredients
-moodlets
-how to learn (via book or from the alchemy station)
-price
-required skill lvl

Or is this approach just naive and I should just have my sim change their carreer...? Is it even possible to add custom potions or does the game not support those things?

Has anyone ever tried to do such a mod or any idea how to create such a mod?

I've seen a couple of mods which add extra potions to the game on MTS (here's one)

I have no idea how it works, but I can at least confirm it should be possible?

That's great, thank you! I didn't find this when I searched for custom potions... Unfortunately, the creator hasn't logged in since 8 years, so I can't ask them... But I'll have a look at the mod and maybe I can add some more potions^^ Thanks
