Yes okay, I do realize that was just an example of an upper limit. But let's think of it this way.
Dear taxpayer,
It has come to our attention that you have earned enough money in your lifetime to have overwhelmed our revenue system's programming because, frankly, we didn't think anyone was ever going to be able to do that. We require that the issue of your undercollected taxes for the past (x) sim years be addressed as it's really not fair for one wage earner to have made so much money that our world's entire economic system has become fragile.
However, we will be kind about it. Instead of dragging this through the tax courts and demanding what would for most be an unreasonable lump sum payment, we will be automatically debiting your account piece by piece in multiples of §551. Forever. Or at least, for the rest of your life and any future lives in this world that you may choose to engage in through whatever means you and your household may have available to you.
You may also at any time choose to go back to work, in which case the debits will stop during your new term(s) of employment. We understand that you may wish to pay the debt off all at once by way of bitcoins, but unfortunately those haven't been invented yet in this timeline.
You do, of course, have the right to appeal this decision. It won't do you any good, but go right ahead if you have nothing else to do with your remaining time on this world.
Thank you for your kind attention to this matter and have a nice day.
Love,etc.
