Sometime in the past, I played the default game. There, when my sims were building relationships, I had to take matters into my own hands. Now that I have a Retuner, I have almost permissiveness in the game. I'm glad that inactive characters take the initiative themselves, but it seems that there are interactions that even with the permission of self-use still remain blocked. Seriously, has anyone ever received a marriage proposal from an inactive character? I got any proposals from npc other than that. Maybe I need to install some other mod that will push the sims to the desired result? By the way, when I switched to other families, I saw that some sims for some reason have the opportunity to offer to get married in the first category, that is, they don't need long persuasion. So why?

Inactive sims won't advance romantic relationships on their own. They'll flirt and woohoo on their own, but if you want a proposal or for one to ask your sim to "go steady" without having to initiate it yourself, you'd need a mod. I've heard good things about bluegenjutsu's autonomous romance mod (hosted on Sims Asylum), which comes in multiple flavors in case you only want to enable certain types of interactions.

I'm not sure what you mean by this, but with my sims, if they're already engaged, they have the option to "have private wedding" without being in a romantic mood. I think that's normal even without mods, but it's certainly normal with Woohooer in place.

puzzlezaddict, I'll try to overcome the language barrier and problem of localization. Well... I have allowed all blocked romantic interactions. That is, now the characters themselves can declare their love for each other, ask to start dating, ask for an engagement and get married. I watched the game and noticed that they really were doing everything but marriage proposal (engagement) still blocked. It's really weird, I don't understand the logic of this game. My character and her boyfriend have already gone through a lot of ... erm... romantic adventures (I didn't push them to anything and just watched), and as a result, they now do not want to move on. The question is rather, why does everything else work and this one doesn't? Ah yes, could you send a link to that mod?

By the way, the private wedding itself also works, even on those sims that I have nothing to do with.

I didn't link the mod because I don't have a Sims Asylum account, or rather I might but would have to dig up my old username, reset the password, etc. You can't see much on the site unless you're signed in, which is why mods hosted there are usually just named rather than providing a direct link.

Since you'd need to make an account anyway, you could instead just look up bluegenjutsu's creations; this mod should be listed among them.

Yeah if you have an account at the Asylum it takes you to the mods page, after oddly routing you through thesims.com.
I love that mod and have used it since Blue first put it out.

That's so weird, because I specifically copied and pasted the text of the link, not the link itself. (I did find it on the Sims forums, having remembered some discussions about the mod there.) I tested the copied link too... no idea what happened there.

I fixed it just now, but on my first edit, the forums part of the link stuck despite my best efforts. It should work now though. If it doesn't, then my browser is seriously messing with me.

Ahh, the wonders of technology. It is an awesome mod though, non-actives will even ask your active sims to get married and choose the private wedding option (sadly that one was always in the bathroom for some reason).

Oh, now I'm feeling a little frustrated. I try to register on that site, and it tells me that my name is already there. But I don't remember registering. And I always thought that Sara Darkees was the one and only

Okay, I've dealt with the situation, I think I have a memory problem. Thank you very much for link, and I really hope this mod will work. If one exemplar doesn't work, I'll try another one. There are a lot of these choices, I'm even confused.

Sorry to hear that. I've never used the mod myself, so I can't really offer anything useful except that that's not how I've seen others describe it. Maybe someone who knows more about how it works will have some insight.
