No Retire Option For Custom Careers

Post by MadDoctor61 » February 12th, 2021, 11:39 pm

My Elder Gynaecologist has decided to retire, now that she is at the peak of her career, but she doesn't have that option. I seem to recall not being able to do so for other custom careers (I can't remember which ones right now). Does the 'Retire' option have to be written into each career or should it be something that is part of the Careers Mod?

I don't know about that career, but I used Master Controller to retire my custom Veterinarian as an Adult. He got his little retirement celebration and pension as usual.

It needs to be written into the career. There's a couple of lines of code and it's pretty straightforward. If it's the Gynaecology career from Mod the Sims, then I know the creator isn't working on Sims 3 content any more. However, I do have a tutorial for adding retirements to custom careers, so you should be able to edit the career yourself and add it in. :) Let me know if you have any problems!
