I posted on reddit for some help... but I am reposting it here just in case the NRAAS Master Controller mod may be able to fix the issue it is I am having. I am not sure if links are allowed, but here it is if you would like to see it for reference:

Basically, I am trying to upload a household and lot onto the Sims 3 exchange store with the family tree intact for people to download. I want the dead sim to have the greyscale portrait and recognize their family tree when I click on them. The problem is that the when I click on the dead father in the family tree display, it does not show him connected to his daughter.
What I did was I used NRAAS Master Controller mod to force kill the father sim and chose "invisible sim" as type of death, so that their portrait would be greyscale in the family tree. Then, I picked up their grave from the mausoleum and brought it back to the lot where I placed the urn inside. I saved the game. Finally, I uploaded and downloaded this lot onto a new save file from the exchange as a test to see if it works.
It did not.
Now the family tree display has permanent corruption I guess because when I tried using Master Controller and removing them as father and daughter (Nraas>>MC>> Advanced>>Family>> Remove Parent / Remove child), then readding them; the game will not remove them as related. It's like it's stuck how it is.
Is there a way to prevent corruption to the family tree when uploading the lot with the household to the thesims3 exchange?
Any advice or feedback is highly appreciated
