The last time I was in Uni world, I purchased a house. The reason behind this was to be able to move in sims from this world and also to be able to choose roommates. I just went back to university and it would not recognize that I own a house. I had to rent it and this prevents me from moving in sims or choosing roommates. Did I have to rent a dorm and move into the house for it to be recognized as owned ? Or do I need to change lot types on the house ?

Tried a few things and my first assumption was the correct path to take. I had to first go to a dorm and move out to my house for it to be recognized by the game as owned.
