Let me preface this by saying I did the stupid thing myself but also there's no earthly reason why "Teleport Here" and "Teleport Active Houseboat Here" (or whatever it was called) should be that close to each other in the menu!
So I was trying to get my sim out from being stuck behind a bar and throwing a route-failure tantrum while partying on a boat and shift-clicked on the floor of said houseboat with the intention of teleporting him to a routable spot. As I've barely played with these before, I had no idea the boat teleport thing even existed and in the 0.5 seconds between seeing an option beginning with "teleport" and clicking it I didn't exactly have time to process it.
Welp, apparently I tried to teleport the whole boat on some spot on the first floor of that same boat and you can guess how well that turned out. The game did not like it at all and it poofed out to a place outside the edge of the world, with my sims (and all the inactives) still in it. Then I tried clicking on the ocean next to the port where it used to be and teleported it there which seemed to work except now it's not docked anywhere. Error trap started spitting an error a minute about a npc vehicle with no driver.
Since it's a community lot (LN club) I can't make my sim drive it/return to port, so is there any way to fix this whole mess or should I just give up and replay from an earlier save before this whole fiasco?

"Teleport Houseboat Here"
I would revert the save. It sounds like you made a mess.
"Teleport Houseboat Here"
This made me laugh more than it should have, mostly because I could so see myself doing it, and can so picture the reaction you had.

"Teleport Houseboat Here"
That I did Sigh. My reaction was mostly "wtf" and "how is this even allowed?!" but on the flip side now I'll (probably) start reading things through before clicking them.
