Would it be possible to set SP caste for example that rich sims could only move into expensive houses? As in set a base house price minimum when a certain group of sims could move into a house. So that they only move into mansions and not some shed on outskirt of town?

I you find a way to define a caste by their household funds, please tell me! I just want to take away their money. In another thread we kind of figured out you can't do it, alas. I'm doing my adjustments by hand. And since for some reason I can't get the game to recognize the EA!! cheat "familyfunds last name §§§" I just transferred a bunch of simoleons from my target sim to the poorest ones, but I better get that familyfunds cheat working or everybody's going to be too rich soon.


Maybe you could hand-assign some SP-recognized trait or other to rich sims and prevent SP from moving the caste that has that trait?

The approach I would probably take would be to use Lot Options > Caste: Disallow manually on the lots I deem to be not worthy enough of these sims moving into. Not sure I see the point of a caste based on cash in this case since the amount of cash on hand is fluid and doesn't really determine much as otherwise sims with next to no income could borrow a few million simoleons and say "look at me I'm rich!" until the bills become due, whereas one based on Net Worth might be more suitable. (the GoHere mod is required for Lot Options caste restrictions to fully take hold)

@ritaxis why not just use MC to remove the family funds? You can add and subtract funds using Household Funds (iirc) in the MC menus.

Oh, I'm doing that now. I started the game missing some modules without noticing-I do not know how!-and couldn't find that on the menu. However, it would have also been nice to create castes to do it automatically.
