Maybe only for me? When I get a multiple-page search result, I am not allowed to go past the first page. The error message says I can't use search at this time, wait for 12 seconds (which turns out to be longer than that, but not superduper long). I don't understand this. It's not a new search, it's the next page of the results I've already gotten. And I don't get the search restriction anyway (is superfast searching a method of doing DDOS attacks?)

That used to be an issue with searches a very long time ago. I'm guessing that the site update that fixed that hasn't caught up with you yet, there's a lot of heavy caching going on to keep this site running properly. Can you try clearing your own browser's cache (this may not really be relevant but it can't hurt) or trying a different browser and see if the issue persists either way?

Wanted to pop in and say I have that same thing. I've just been waiting the amount of time before clicking the next page.

I do clear my caches often, and also I have the same issue on firefox and chrome.

I must be remembering a different search result fix then, sorry about that. Although I'm not seeing the imposed delay on my end (today). I'm sure Chain can clear this up when he catches up with us here.
(am moving the thread to Site Feedback, though)

So today, when I try to go to the next page of search results, instead of getting the timeout error message, I get the advanced search page. I have tried several ways to get to page two of my results, but nope.
(I can switch the sort-by filter between ascending and descending and thus see two pages of the search results, but no more than that).

It does look like the flood feature is buggy so I've disabled it. I'm not sure why you're not able to search at all. I wasn't able to reproduce that much brokenness. Is it still like that?

I can go to further pages on the search now, thanks! It works just like I expect it to.
