retuner pregnancy length change issue maybe

Post by thebriamon » November 28th, 2020, 5:01 pm

I think I made a mistake with my new neighborhood. I portered my small neighborhood to a new one. Four of the residents were pregnant. I am playing on a long lifespan and had altered the length of pregnancy through retuner. It was only after I had placed all my residents that I imported all of my mod settings, and now I'm wondering if I'm going to have four sims stuck in pregnancy forever. If this is the case, can I force a birth? Or do I have to end their pregnancies and start them again?

It's not a guarantee, but it is likely that the pregnant sims suddenly finding themselves in an environment where the pregnancy length is different from what it was originally for them will get stuck as pregnant. It's not fatal, though. Your choices would be to use MC (Cheats) to end the pregnancies or CmarNYC's Pregnancy Controller mod to force them into labor.

Thanks, igazor. Quick question about that mod - I have teen woohoo and pregnancy enabled with Woohooer, (but haven't have any pregnancies yet), will that mod affect that?

No, I've been using Cmar's mod for years alongside of NRaas mods and it's all fine. It will impact teen pregnancies (or ignore them) the same as any other. If you don't really want the mod to stay in play long-term you could remove it after taking care of the existing pregnancies, but it won't do any harm by just being present.
