Got a new computer and am using the chance to reload The Sims 3 and to thin out my CC collection. I have been installing and testing for the last couple of weeks, all the NRAAS mods are fresh downloads from just a couple of weeks ago. I have not carried any of the Mods over from the old system at this point.

All my mods are working except for the Cheat option of the MasterController. I have downloaded and reinstalled both mods, cleared all caches, verified the version numbers, and so far - no joy.

Hi there. That's very unusual. What is your source of install (Origin, Steam, retail discs, something else) and your game's patch level?

Just to rule out interference from other things, if you have any mods or package based content from other sources, what happens if you try a test run of a newly started game with just the MC base mod, MC Cheats, and nothing else in Mods\Packages with the script cache cleared again?

I am running and installing through Origin. I am currently running Launcher 1.69, When I run only with the NRAAS mods it still does not work, in the "Mod Scripts Found" dialog that you get at the Main menu before loading the save, the MasterControllerExpandedTatoo.package, MasterControllerIntegration.package and MasterControllerProgression.package all show up. But MasterController.package, and the MasterControllerCheats.package do not show up. but I do see the Master Controller options in the menus under the NRAAS options both on the Sims and at City Hall.

The script mods detected pop-up on startup is not necessarily all-inclusive.

But just to make sure I understand, the MC base mod commands are showing up in-game on City Hall, etc. but not the MC Cheats commands?

Let's try a more forceful test, if we could and if I've understood that correctly. Pull your entire TS3 user game folder out of Documents (or rename it). A new one will spawn to take its place on the next startup. It will have no added content or game saves, but that will all be safe in the pulled out folder. Back out, set up the mods framework again, put in MC base and MC Cheats only, nothing else. Clear the script cache and start a new test game. Any better?

Sorry, it has taken me a couple of days to get back to you.

I even renamed the entire "The sims 3" directory so that the entire directory structure would be recreated, Installed just the NC and NC cheats routines. both showed up in the listing at game startup. but there were no cheats available. I was not even able to drag stats around such as hunger.

MC and MC Cheats have nothing to do with dragging motives around. What MC Cheats does is add a whole bunch of commands to the NRaas > MasterController menus that would otherwise not be there. For example, look on a sim under NRaas > MC > Advanced. If MC Cheats is installed, you should see many menus of options there like Books, Change Autonomy, Change Learned Drinks, Copy Skin Tone, etc. that with the MC base mod alone would not show up.

Here is the full Interactions page for MasterController. The commands that require the MC Cheats module are indicated as such in blue under the descriptions of the commands.

The ability to drag motives back and forth is a function of EA's own testingcheatsenabled cheat code. There is a mod way to have testingcheatsenabled engaged at startup and keep it on without having to keep reaching for the Ctrl+Shift+C cheats console, but that is a function of Overwatch and not MC.
NRaas > OW > Settings > Testing Cheats Enabled > True
