Total Annihilation question.

Post by saintc » July 3rd, 2020, 10:29 am

Will total annihilation delete the family tree?

I'm starting to get error 12s, but I want to keep the family tree. Will Annilating all inactives remove my sim's cousins and dead relatives etc from the family tree?

The point of TA is that it is meant to arrange things so it is as if the sim(s) being Annihilated never existed in the first place. Perhaps this isn't the strategy you want to use, at least not exclusively or not across the entire board.

If your game runs out of memory , you might check while playing your windows task manager.
When the total reaches 3,3 GB you come into danger zone, the game can handle max around 3,7 GB,
save as and quit game then restart.

Depending on what world you are playing, amount of population, objects, etc.
