I set up my homeworld university, I'm just trying to make sure the classes are set up so that I don't have finals in the middle of the semester. Is there something I can set in MC, Careers etc. or do I just have to enroll on a Monday and it starts that day?

ETA: I also don't have much experience with University in the uni world either so I'm not sure if that has a procedure too

Note that terms are exactly seven sim-days long.
So if you enrolled on Wednesday, your term will end on the following Wednesday.
Ignore the notices stating how many days you have remaining, they are EA Standard and are completely incorrect in the homeworld.
Final Exams always occur on Friday. They do not denote the end of term.

I haven't figured out jet how this is when starting on Thursday and doing the final on friday, which is the second day of term then and the other friday again?
That's why I always try to enroll my active sims on Sunday, so term starts on Monday.
