Push to work??
Which option stops the game from forcing my active sim to work? Most of the time I like this constant push, specially for my inactive sims, but there are rare occasions I one of my sims to skip work and even get in trouble/demoted, but the game keeps pushing them to go right up to the time they would normally get off and I have to keep stopping them. In Go Here I don't really see anything that seems directly related to this and I don't want to stop all sims from being pushed.

It's not GoHere, it's StoryProgression doing that. NRaas > SP > Sim (Caste, Household, Town) Options > Push: Allow to Work > (T/F). But these pushes are what SP does in addition to what the game itself does, so you may find the sims in question still being pushed there with the setting being False only not as hard or as often.
If a sim needs to take one or more days off of work/school without penalty, MC can be used to give them one or more days off in advance of their start time. But if the penalties are desired, afraid I don't know of any other way to selectively stop or reduce the pushes other than the above. Anything that Retuner could do, for example, would operate on the entire town.

Thank you. I thought I was missing something. I know about the regular MC days off. I use this for weddings and parties on the townies I want to come so they don't take off in the middle of a party.igazor wrote: ↑May 2nd, 2020, 9:15 pmIt's not GoHere, it's StoryProgression doing that. I will likely just leave it as is since I wouldn't want the game to keep my other sims from going to work if EA tries to get them so skip. I am assuming that SP works to counteract some of EA's pushing sims to go other places than work and school which is why that option is there. Or perhaps I will turn it on and off as needed if only to keep the once per hour push that seems to occur with SP. Which again, is great 90% of the time, but not so great when I want one sim to "call in sick" so to speak.
I kind of wish I could keep certain sims at certain levels at work. Mainly my school teachers. My sims move up the ladder so fast even though I have it set to work with lifespan and made it a bit harder to progress. IRL if you're a high school teacher, generally speaking you stay that unless you just really want to move up the ladder to principle to whatever.

Cool! I did not know I could do that with individual sims. I've had other issues today that are ticking me off so I had not thought of that. Thank you, as always Igazor. You're a gem.
