Hi, I just want to mention that the problem with sims popping in and out of their seats when trying to place an order happened in my game at one point and after much trial and error, I discovered it was the "Eat Outside" mod that was causing the problem. Once I remove that my sims were able to sit and order food. This may not be the cause with your game, but thought I'd mention it. Hope you get it figured out.
