What does this setting mean? It's under General>Species: Human Maximum household size for autonomous I don't get this, it's default at 8 what does changing this number do? Will they not auto woohoo if the number is higher or lower? I'm just not sure what this option does.

It's the household size gating for autonomous Try for Baby (not woohooing). :)

Ahhh, so they wont get preggers if the house has 8 people? If I have my homes set to 12 this means they can? Or does it have to do with autonomous babies only? Because I have mine set to not allow autonomous risky or try for baby woohoos.

On a side note, if I have it set this way will no NA sims still get pregnant if the game needs them to be? And if I have my town is set at a specific number (120 Sims) and I allow autonomous 'try for baby' or 'risky', will sims still get pregnant if I've reached the threshold?

Oy, I wasn't expecting to have to deliver a full-on birds and bees lecture this afternoon. I had to make a fresh pot of coffee for this one. But honestly, didn't your parents teach you any of this? Did you not go to a public school where this class should have been a requirement? :P

See, when two sims like each other very much, one of them may begin a series of physical interactions that can in turn lead to...you know what, now that I am thinking more clearly I guess we can skip this part for now.

The Woohooer setting gates whether the Woohooer mod allows sims to autonomously Try for Baby depending on the size of the household of the sim who would become pregnant. It has nothing to do with pregnancies that are formed or tried for by means other than Woohooer, such as those that are done by way of MC or another mod, or imposed upon sims by way of StoryProgression.

User directed Try for Babies are I think always possible but they won't result in any pregnancies if the household is full. Although if they are full by SP's standards in particular and the two mods are linked, then the user directed command will not show up. Sims can always get pregnant by user direction if the town is at or over SP's soft population cap and that is the only potential barrier in their way, in the same way that "immigration" can also happen if you shove some sims into town by way of the household bin or MC > Add Sim, but they will not do so all on their own.

Thanks Mr.Igzor Smartaleckpants. I think I got this now. LOL

I was aware that I could manually woohoo the "try for baby" and get prenant even if the town is "full" What I was just wondering was if the "try for baby" part of this WooHoo mod would result in a baby-boom among my household and the town.

BTW: I have WooHoo set to NOT allow risky WooHoo's or TFB but for some reason, they did this anyway now and then. I think the MoarInteractions mod over-rides WooHoo because I still had a few sims woohoo during parties and "the someone got preggers" music played. I have also caught NA and active sims do the Risky Woohoo and Try for Baby during parties and once at the arcade in the photobooth!

I like the MoarInteractions mod, but I do wish we could set up what interactions are available. I get irritated when I send them to "Socialize Friendly" and they end up "training" someone or playing stupid water-balloons. The "socialize romantic" is where we end up with sims doing baby risky stuff, that's why I'm certain that it is it's own thing.
