Missiing Woohooer Menu

Post by SkeeterB » April 5th, 2020, 1:47 pm

I have had Woohooer installed along with Oniki's Kinky World Mod and it had been working fine and yesterday I was messing with the settings of Woohooer and now I cannot get woohooer's menu option to come up. What did I do wrong. I AM using a legitimate copy of TS3 with 4 EPs that were installed off of legit DVD-ROM discs and/or the Origin (UGH) app. What can I do to get the menu to come back. I deleted all the cache.package files and restarted the game but it still doesn't come up. Can anyone help me figure out when files need to be deleted/changed in order to bring back the NRAAS/Woohooer menu?

Missiing Woohooer Menu

HI there. Are we talking about the NRaas > Woohooer menu on sims or on City Hall/in-game computers? The one on sims has always been elusive at times for many of us and it only offers at most two sim specific commands related to Club Rendezvous and being/becoming a paid professional (KamaSimtra add-on module) that can be worked around in other ways. This one does have an on/off switch though, on City Hall or an in-game computer NRaas > Woohooer > General > Visibility: Sim Menu > T/F.

If the main NRaas > Woohooer menu on City Hall and in-game computers is not showing up, then that's different as it would make the mod impossible to configure.

I'm glad you mentioned KW as that saves us some time though as the two mods are not compatible with each other. However, I've never heard of KW hiding Woohooer's menus specifically. If the above doesn't help, I would suggest trying a new test game that does not have KW present to see if the mod's menus reappear. But that's really about all the assistance we can offer if KW is to remain in play as the mod cannot be supported here.

I could only get the Woohooer menu to come up on my main sims before yesterday. Woohooer and KW worked fine together before that. It is said that KW needed WH to get some of the non-normal interactions to work. I tried checking the KW menus and the MC menus to see if I could get the WH menu to re-appear to have no luck.. Oh I do not have overwatch installed and still the City Hall is not clickable for some weird reason. I uninstalled it long before I started my current sim family.

Okay. But the two mods are not programmatically compatible and there is no support we can offer for players who have KW in their games or who are working with ongoing games that have ever "seen" the mod. I'm sorry to rant, this isn't your fault, but we have had players arguing (debating) this point with us for years and the novelty has worn off long ago. I would suggest seeking assistance on the forum that supports KW, since City Halls not being clickable is not expected or usual under any circumstances I can think of with or without Overwatch.

If you require assistance with an ongoing game that has never "seen" KW, we would be happy to help. But as we cannot do so for this one, afraid I'll have to lock this thread for now.
