Incest Baby Breaking the Game?
Incest Baby Breaking the Game?
So, I decided to mess around with Woohooer and test what happens to the family tree when you make a baby out of a normally blocked pairing. For this instance, I had a father - daughter pairing (gross, I know). They had the baby, and when I went to check ifs family tree, the game completely locked up indefinitely. I restarted and tried again. Same thing. The tree will function when another family member is selected, but will freeze the instant you click the baby's portrait. Naturally, I assumed that the game crashed because it wasn't programmed to handle such a combination, but I have seen claims online that they've been able to check an inbred baby's tree with no issue. Does anyone have any experience or insight on this? I promise I won't judge you.

Do you have MasterController and it's Integration module installed? It has fixes for many family tree issues. Wheather this is one I don't know offhand.

I have MasterController, but not Integration. As far as I know, Integration only swaps out CAS interactions with the MC one. Does it do something with family trees too?

Sooo.... I may have solved my own problem. I downloaded Integration and updated MasterController because it turns out I was still running version 1.32. Not sure which of these fixed it, but thank you for the advice. Now to delete this abomination of a family I've made.

Yes, it replaces the family tree button with one that calls the one in MC with many fixes. Integration also fixes several other things and unlocks many interactions that are usually prohibited with full households. Admittedly most of this isn't documented anywhere so I can see why you'd think that.
Glad it is resolved.
