It's been awhile since I've had an issue, my family had their first child.
1st thing is I don't let my family age normally I always do trigger age transition manually
Well all of a sudden every time the infant is put to bed they end up somewhere on the floor, I have done resetsim by name or with a *, have changed out the cribs and done a close out without saving and no matter what I have tried the baby won't stay in a crib. I even tried moving the family to a new house in the same town and the infant still ends up on the floor.
Is this a known issue? and is there anything I can do to fix it without starting over again?
Thanks in advance for any help
Cheers,

PS this is a CC house

Resetsim the cheats console way does not really accomplish very much. It generally takes a sim (or all sims by way of the *) out of their current situation and sends them to a safe place on their home lot. Do you get any better results with an MC Reset Sim? Or even better perhaps, an MC Reset of the entire household from its lot menu?
Next best choice would be a different kind of reset. Retreat to Edit Town, evict the entire household to the side of the map, copy the uninhabited lot down to the bin, bulldoze, replace the lot with a new copy, and move everyone back in without having left the screen. If that makes things worse somehow, be sure to quit without saving. I understand you have tried to move the household to a new lot, but in that case you may have brought the issue over with them or selected a lot that is having the same problem.

Is it a CC crib? Try with an EA one if so.

I had that happen several years ago, and it was an IF that was still in the mailbox and causing the baby to not stay in the crib. I'm notorious about forgetting to check the mailbox. That is when I quit allowing IF's in my game. Can't stand the creepy things anyways! Flush the buggers and disallow them in retuner. At least I hope that is your issue. It's an easy fix to check the mailbox if you don't want to flush them.

Infant not staying in crib
Sorry, it's taking me so long to respond. I ended up using Igazor suggestion of evicting my family, bulldozing my lot and reinstalling the CC house.
No to Chain_Reaction's question. Only my homes and venues are CC, well plus changing colors on all the clothes (if that counts).
Bekkasan, I actually like having the IF's in my game, I always make them real once the toddler becomes a child and raise them together as best friends, who eventually get married as young adults. So my infant already had her IF on her when she wouldn't stay in her crib.
So the final line is Igazor's suggestion is currently working.
