That's probably why I've never seen orphans being abandoned as I remodel the houses to be able to accommodate 5-8 sims depending on the size of the lot (lots smaller than 20x20 give me problems).

It's not the size of the lots their relatives and friends live on, I meant that their households might happen to already be full as per SP's maximum household size.

I wasn't talking about lot size I was referring to having enough beds for 5-8 sims on every lot. I only mentioned lots smaller than 20x20 as I have problems remodeling those.

Thank you Igazor. And yes, I did have some issues with the money mod. I tried using it twice and all manner of odd things happened that I did not care for so I opted to just forgo that mod for the time being. I don't manage money very well IRL so doing it for a town of sims and trying to keep up with things is a bit much for my brain. I'm more of a Virtuoso/Artist than I am Genius/Computer Wiz.
I asked because I do get involved sometimes with one family and have had things happen I was unaware. It does seem that if you rotate a lot in one game you can miss some of the notifications about friends and family.
I do monitor my sims pretty closely, but as we all know sometimes we over-look or forget before it's too late. Just today I was trying to remember who all the boyfriends/girlfriends were for my family of 6 children (all YA or teens). We had a party and I messed up and ended up with siblings fighting because I had one sister "heat of the moment kiss" her brothers boyfriend. LOL ooops! Hard to keep track, ya know? First the boy went off on her, then her brother and then her boyfriend cussed her. Good thing they all had high liking gates so it didn't do too much damage to their relationships.

Perhaps littlelambsy will stop by and tell us about how she tried (unsuccessfully) around sixteen times to have two sims exchange vows at a Wedding Party one day. The problem there was that the bride she was selecting was not the planned one, just someone who looked like her. The resulting damage to the actual intended couple's relationship and the intended groom's reputation were, as I recall, impossible to fix over the course of their lifetime.JohnL83 wrote: ↑January 5th, 2020, 8:55 pm...Just today I was trying to remember who all the boyfriends/girlfriends were for my family of 6 children (all YA or teens). Hm, with MC clicking the sim you can find out - Filter
Number of Romantic Interests
Filters on the number of romantic or greater level long-term relationships for a sim
If you allow many romantic interests you can make an area screenshot of the sim list you get for each of your active sims and paste it in a word document. This way you can always proof it fast, but you must update it regularly
Instead to minimize it a little - use
SP option General / Romance Drop Old Flirts: Base Chance
Defines the percent base chance that a sim choose to drop all their previous romantic interests when they go steady
Default: 0 set it much higher or even to 100
And in Whoohooer adjust these ones a little if you have the default setting which allows all
Interaction Level: Romance
Interaction Level: Steady
Interaction Level: Married
Claudy Bookworm, Cat Person, Computer Whiz, Couch Potato, Eco-Friendly, Friendly, Frugal, Genius, Nurturing, Social butterfly, Supernatural fan, Virtuoso in the past, Workaholic, Brooding, No Sense of Humor

I do remember her telling this story.
My sim ran into a doppelganger of his wife at the park once and she just walked up and slapped the crap out of my sim and I was like WTF happened and how do they suddenly hate each other?? She'd just made out with him at home and they were 100%!
I of course panicked and started to fix things when I noticed his wife skating nearby with her daughter. I ended up TAing the dupe because the game had placed her, same name and all, from the bin as a paparazzi. This was before I had the mods to fix this kind of thing. I don't have the issue anymore thank goodness.

LOL, I remember that wedding, it was a disaster because my sim, the groom, kept trying to marry the wrong female. One of the guests was the image of his intended bride and I kept trying to make him do romantic actions with this "other woman" and she kept rejecting him. I couldn't figure out why. I also couldn't figure out why the guests kept having the image of him with a red line through him in their thought bubble.... it was really frustrating. Then, his bride arrived and caught him flirting with the one he thought he was engaged to. She screamed at him, then slapped him silly. Needless to say, his wedding day was a disaster and never happened. I should have put glasses on him!
