That's strange, but I don't get it all the time. Still, it does occur more often than I'd like.sheridanhoughton post_id=66850 time=1560505949 user_id=5082 wrote: But I don't get the issue of sims dropping other actions to pick up my toddlers. They are always happy to do what I tell them and only interact with the toddler when directed.
From my observations, Sim toddlers, just like real life toddlers, want to be where the older sims are, so if everyone is too far away for any length of time an adult or teen will go get them and sit them down closer to where whatever it is they are doing.
Sara_Darkees - real toddlers are underfoot more than pets! LOL. And the questions! OMG! I don't have kids, but I have babysat my nieces nephews and friends kids most of my adult life and often had them for weekends while the parents went away for vacation or work. They always want to be near you, so I suppose the dev's who programed Sims were familiar with toddlers. But yes, it bugs me sometimes too,, even IRL. Still, I really like many of the interactions adults can have with sim toddlers, it's all very cute. Like reading to them, attack of the claw...etc. I think there's noting sweeter than a baby or toddler's genuine laughter and the sim kids can make me smile too.
