I have a really weird problem that I have never come against before. My blond YA female sim is covered in thick black body hair. I have tried resetting her, but it still remains. And going into CAS doesn't help, because females don't have the option to have body hair in the first place. Any ideas, anyone?? please??
thanks

If you use the MC version of CAS, you can enable body hair for females (under category changes). Maybe if you do that you can remove the hair?

If you do temporarily allow body hair for females, can you then get into CAS and fix this?
NRaas > MC > Settings > CAS > Category Changes > Body Hair for Females > T/F
If there is nothing that can be done that way, might this sim have a custom skin or some other form of CC that is acting up? Might she be a werewolf?

I had similar surprises after installing Dresser, although, to tell the truth, the reason was that I didn't understand its settings.

Definitely not a werewolf - I don't have pets.
Also, I don't have any custom skins.
I will try the suggested settings under category changes.
In the meantime, I sent her to the salon for a wax, and that has fixed the problem - presumably only temporarily.
I will let you all know how it goes.
thanks

Points taken, but just so you know for future reference werewolves are not pets, they are an occult state from the Supernatural EP. If you attempt to keep one on a leash or in a cage without their consent (and consent being the important part), you are doing something illegal in most sim jurisdictions.

I've seen this without Dresser it's their genetics from their father sometimes they inherit the body hair. Vlad Schlick from Bridgeport always seemed to have hairy daughters at least for me anyway .

thanks sitting bear, I think this must be the problem. Most of the male sims I create are pretty hairy, so it is likely her father is. But it is strange that it hasn't occurred before.
igazor, thanks. I don't have supernatural either.
I haven't played long enough since I sent her to the salon to see if the hair comes back. But if it does I will use your way of fixing it and let you know how it goes.

I have this issue and I use the cmar mods for anatomically correct sims with body hair. (though I only want it on males) I tried the suggestions above and it can still occur on occasion. It never happened before adding these mods. In my experiences anyway. I just fix it in CAS. I nearly always fix my town and active sims in CAS to rid them of stupid or bad outfits. This is often when I notice the random woman with hair. While in CAS I make them a teen again, then put them right back to YA all without leaving CAS. So far every time I've done this they re-appear as a YA without the body hair. You will have to go back into personalty and give them back the added trait they lose when being aged back to teen, but it's a simple enough fix.sheridanhoughton wrote: ↑May 12th, 2019, 4:54 amI have a really weird problem that I have never come against before. thanks JohnL. I think that is the problem. So far, she has not grown back the hair that was removed in the salon. I am interested to see how long that lasts. 4 babies so far, I wish waxing IRL lasted that long. But not good for business for beauticians!
thanks everyone for your help
